Sun Goddess takes on some talented colts here over 7f for the first time and there is no reason to think she cannot stay and her form so far is as good as any in the field.

Sun Goddess is a really good horse, but I'm less convinced she's dominant. There's no question about her ability, but there is no value there. Celeron is my choice here, though. Last time he was here it was the Railway Stakes over the same distance, where he won in a fashion. I think he will give Sun Goddess a run for her money.

VELAZEE has won two races at 5f third over 6f at Ascot on her latest outing last month course distance and going should suit and could well be able to win this race

King Of Cloughan caught the eye when winning the Coventry Stakes at Ascot, showing a strong turn of foot to beat a huge field and recording a higher Racing Post rating than today's short-priced favourite. He's still lightly raced and that Ascot form gives him a serious chance of confirming himself at Group 1 level, while 11/1 looks big enough to make him the value play against Sun Goddess.

Tribeca looks an interesting each-way angle in the 4.00 at the Curragh. He has already shown plenty of ability over 6f and, with improvement likely from just his second start, he could step forward enough to surprise the bigger names in this Group 1 field.

Carry The Flag was much too free last time and could spring a surprise here. He actually beat the favourite earlier in the season, and if he can recapture that form, he could go well.
